This is a video of the Vinewood Ave. Crossing in the Day. This side features Griswold Type "B" lights, and a Safetran gate mechanism, replacing the Transport Products Company one that used to be there. The train was going pretty slow, so that's why it takes so long for the crossing to activate. You can also see the Oak St. crossing going down in the distance, which seems to be starting up very late.

This is a video of the Vinewood Avenue crossing in Wyandotte, MI. This crossing is 1 of 9 crossings that I will be filming. I will be getting one in the day as well. Try to bear with my rambling in the beginning, I was there for over an hour waiting for a train. If you notice, the bell starts to ring before the lights flash. It really doesn't do that, but the sound got off on the second part of the video for some reason. Anyways, the side that I am filming on (the East side) has the GRS Plastic Lexan 8" lights, while the west side has Griswold Type "B" lights. The middle flashers also have the GRS Plastics, and the track that the train is on has 12x20" lights.

This is a video of the Vinewood Ave. crossing malfunction on April 23, 2008. Conrail's signals were malfunctioning. The island circuit was detecting something that wasn't there. He adjusted the motion sensor and that took care of it. The crossing features GRS LEX-C plastic lights, a Safetran mechanical bell that needs to be adjusted, as it isn't working properly, and a WCH mechanical bell that will need adjusting soon, as it sounds weak. I shook the mast with the bell that was clicking, and it rang nicely.
