Hindi dubbed devotional movie Sati Sukanya (2002) Synopsis: Punyam movie tells the story of princess Sukanya (Lakshmi Gopalaswami) who agrees to marry the old sage Chyavana (Narendra Prasad), whom she had blinded by accident. Dasran (Boban Alummoodan) and Satyan (Krishna Kumar) who are two Ashwini Kumaras (the celestial physicians) come to the ashram of Chyavana and when one of them tries to seduce Sukanya, she impresses him with her steadfast loyalty to her husband. Consequently, the Ashwini princes grant her a boon, that of restoring sight to Chyavana and to bestow him with eternal youth. But there is a clause. Chyavana has to take a dip in the Payoshini river with one of the Ashwini princes and when they emerge from the water, they'd both look alike. Sukanya then has to identify her husband. However, if she picks the wrong person, she'd still have to accept him as her husband! What happens thereafter forms the climax.

The harrowing chase is com-pounded by Sasha's criminal lawyer father who refuses to lie even when not under oath, a glutonomus servant who is all the tiem hungry and a cousin teenager who is forever lovesick. Aravind (Akkineni Nagarjuna), Chandru (Sumanth) and Krishna Murthy (Sudhakar) are childhood friends. They are inseparable. Chandru and Krishna Murthy are orphans, who are generously brought up by the parents of Aravind. By the time they reach their 20's, Aravind's sister Amrita (Pratyusha) falls in love with Chandru. Chandru hesitates to love her, as she is the sister of his close friend Aravind. Chandru seeks the help of Krishna Murthy to give him some tips to avoid Amrita. After the entire episode, Aravind and Chandru visit Hyderabad to join the work done by Krishna Murthy. When this trio goes for a job of renovating an old palatial house, Aravind encounters a cute girl Padmini (Bhoomika Chawla). A mischief by the jealous cousin sister of Padmini invokes a love from the side of Aravind towards Padmini. When Padmini was about to get engaged to a third guy Chandru jumps in to spoil the party and announces that Padmini cheated Aravind after loving him. The rest of the film is about how the pairs of Arvind - Padmini and Chandru - Amrita get united in the climax.

This story is about a girl Swathi who is a very happy-go-lucky girl with no inhibitions. She encourages book donation and makes sure that she does it personally by spreading this concept in all colleges. She happens to meet a guy through Orkut and falls in love. That guy ditches her. Shocked and sensitive Swathi decides to commit suicide. She goes to a railway track to end her life. At this time, she receives a phone call from a lady. This lady tells Swathi that because of her promoting book donation, her son has been able to study and get a gold medal. This makes Swathi very happy and also induces in her a fresh and positive outlook towards life. She realises that since she has the opportunity to help others, she should not end her life. She decides to forget her past and keep up the good work she has been doing. While this is going on, she meets a guy, Adi who plans on committing suicide due to very silly reasons. She takes it upon herself to teach Adi the value of life and how to win even against the adverse circumstances. She does a complete makeover for Adi where he changes from a loser to a winner and in the process they both get attracted to each other. At this point, Adi comes to know about the video and there is little drama towards the climax.
