Eugenics is much more prevalent in the world of CVS and Amnio testing. There is not enough accurate information given to most parents where abortion is suddenly advised/offered. Nothing can tell you about the spectrum of a syndrome other than the individual, and the ultrasounds give the best clues, not the karyotpe from amniotic fluid or placenta. Perhaps concentrate eugenics fighting energies into awareness of conditions and what they really mean to individuals living with the condition.

I am "beraucracy, new user acc. Update; used PGD 3 times, 1 FISH 2 aCGH, got ourselves on live healthy embryo and she survived and is now 6months old. Without PGD I'd've had miscarriages into menopause. I have Turner syndrome, and this as with other chromosomal issues there is a low rate of success. All of the other embryos died/arressted and only two of those were potentially viable for life, the rest definately non-viable for life. contd...
