i have an answer to your 2.d) Sting is cause by The its tentacles, The tentacles have stinging cells which are mild when it have fed in a close proximity, yet this is a deadly creature because it is a compound of 4 organisms as if only 1 organism is fed the other 3 grow hungrier making their stinging cells more deadly and as to its length a small fish wont do to a whole meal...
