If the Russians could expose the Moon landing as a hoax it would certanly hurt the US prestige. And I think they have way more resources AND motive to humiliate and expose NASA during the cold war. They didn't, so the landing must have endured their scrutiny. That's enough proof for me.

I know You can't, because it was impossible with the 60's technology. Film special effects is one of my specialities, I could tell You how every scene in "2001" or "Star Wars" was created. The Apollo films could NOT have been produced on Earth for many reasons.
